I have found that I really enjoy crochet. It is fun, puzzling at times, relaxing, and produces something useful (most of the time). Early projects were simple things like coasters, small baskets, kobo sleeve, and a purse for my daughter. Since then I have moved on to bigger projects like blankets and scarves. My big goal is to start making socks and sweaters.

Eventually I would also like to try out knitting, sewing, and embroidery. I have tried knitting using a loom, but found that I did not enjoy it as much as crochet (my partner loves loom knitting, though). I do a bit of hand sewing in order to, very poorly, patch up small tears/holes in our clothes, but would like to be able to use a sewing machine to make clothes. We'll see what the future holds. In the meantime I will be updating this page with projects I work on. For the time being it will mostly be crochet.
